Prague, Czech Republic – August 2013
After our time in Kraków, we trained to Prague. Since I was young, I’ve wanted to visit this 1100 year old city, known for its architecture, its cultural vibrancy, and its overall stunning beauty.
Being in Prague during high tourist season was a bit of a letdown due to the masses of people wandering the city’s majestic streets. However, with some self-determination and the aid of setting multiple alarm clocks, you could take in at dawn the ancient Baroque Charles Bridge, the vast and ornate Prague Castle and the rarely quiet city streets of Prague without your photos being impeded by a multitude of people.
As always, there are additional images of Prague on my Flickr page (click here). Since the initial shock of the onset of school has subsided, I’ve been able to go through these photos, sort, edit and begin to feel nostalgic about the Europe trip of 2013.
